During the month of October, the high school community promotes the value of high school athletics and activities such as speech, debate, music and theatre. This special time is referred to as National High School Activities Month, which was created to increase the public’s awareness of the values and needs of interscholastic activity programs. 

The NFHS is providing state associations and high schools the National High School Activities Month Booklet and The Case for High School Activities Booklet, to promote National High School Activities Month.
