The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) has been doing some summer cleaning of its archives and uncovered some interesting video footage. The videos come from H.V. Porter's belongings. Porter was the former director of the IHSA and the first executive director of the NFHS.

Approximately 20 videos have been uploaded to YouTube, showcasing events such as the IHSA state basketball finals from the mid-1930s.

Another video shows the IHSA Track & Field finals and the Pekin (Illinois) Relays from 1937.

There is even a video detailing how to manufacture an official NFHS basketball.
