Philosophy of Athletics
Cherry has always been one to share her knowledge of sports with other coaches, especially the younger ones. She's interested in developing the sport to its fullest potential, and believes that one can only do this by sharing what has made you successful. She always sets high standards for herself without losing sight of my her own values, and tries to teach this through sports. She also teaches that playing a game has to do with your feelings, your emotions, and how you care about people you are involved with and making the situation a more caring and sporting place to be. She ties all of this in with life itself. Her willingness to give of her time, no matter how much of it is required, to any student that is interested in learning is her strongest point. She is always available to both students and coaches if they need her.
