Clara Garcia may not fill up the stat sheet this season with a bunch of baskets and rebounds, but the Coachella Valley High School senior basketball player brings to the Arabs a cache of unlikely intangibles that already declare her a star.  

Born with spina bifida, Clara's infant legs were formed at birth as a singular rather than a plural.  The initial operation to separate her legs caused blood loss to her lower back, ultimately resulting in severe loss of leg muscle and sense below her knees.
