Philosophy of Athletics

Athletics can and should teach young athletes to come to terms with themselves, to learn who they are, to learn the value of competition, but most of all, sports should teach the value of honor and chivalry. These qualities of character need to be taught and encouraged in students. The realization of the value of sportsmanship leads to a more respectful community.
