The TMSAA has added girls' volleyball to its growing list of championship sports, playing the first-ever middle school state championship in the sport.  Eight teams in Class A and eight teams in Class AA advanced from sectionals held around the state to participate in a day of pool play on Thursday. From pool play, teams were ranked and placed in brackets on Friday to compete for 1st through 5th places.
