Philosophy of Athletics

Coach Pendleton believes that athletics is a conduit to teach life skills. Learning about perseverance, dedication, sacrifice to the group instead of the individual are valuable skills that athletic participation helps develop in young people.  Athletics offer young people to safest place to experience failure in their lives with an opportunity to grow from that experience. Athletics will help prepare young people for their lives as adults when real setbacks and disappointments take place.
