NFHS and Varsity Performing Arts to Offer FREE Marching Band Show Program for Schools All Across America

By NFHS and Varsity Performing Arts on May 11, 2020 music directors & adjudicators article Print

Varsity Performing Arts and the NFHS have partnered together to create a free resource for high school marching bands. Working with nationally recognized composers and arrangers, David Starnes, Robert W. Smith, Jay Bocook, Michael Klesch, Richard Saucedo, Thom Hannum, Ralph Hardimon, Mike McIntosh, and Paul Rennick, to bring schools and communities “Together as One” as a free resource for your schools. Varsity Performing Arts and the NFHS are proud to have the support of United Sound to help make "Together as One" a truly all-inclusive experience by providing unified band parts for all as a part of this incredible resource for schools.

“Together As One” will be available, for FREE, to any school, coach and director needing a field show for 2020, and wanting the opportunity to involve other school or community groups. This project was designed in response to our extraordinary circumstances and as an opportunity for collaborative performance between music programs, cheer teams, dance teams, sports teams, and entire communities and crowds. In the place of a traditional marching band show at halftime, this program is designed to incorporate and coordinate performances between as many groups in a school or community to show that America Needs Spirit now more than ever.
