NFHS Network to Recognize top Student Broadcast Teams

The NFHS Network, the nation’s leading high school sports media company, invites high school student broadcast programs and high school student broadcasters to submit nominations for the first-ever NFHS Network Broadcast Academy Awards. The winners will be announced at the NFHS Network Broadcast Academy Awards Ceremony to be held in Atlanta, July 18, 2015. Nominations are due by February 15, 2015 and three finalists in each category will be announced in early April.

High school broadcast teams and students will be recognized in the following categories: 

  • Best Overall School Broadcast Program
  • Best New School Broadcast Program
  • Best Live Sports Broadcast
  • Best Original Program/Feature
  • Best Student Broadcaster
  • Highlight of the Year
  • School Broadcast Program Teacher of the Year

 

“We are thrilled to honor these amazing high students who are producing and broadcasting live high school games and events throughout the school year,” said Robert Rothberg, NFHS Network President.  “I continue to be amazed at the quality and professionalism of the camera work, announcing, and sophisticated graphics.  These kids deserve to be recognized for their accomplishments.”
