NSAA Announces Partnership with Nebraska Strength and Conditioning Coaches

By on June 03, 2024 state news Print

The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) has announced a partnership with Nebraska strength and conditioning coaches. The partnership will look to re-establish the impact the “Husker Power” strength and conditioning programs had in Nebraska high schools specifically in the 1980’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s.

Through the partnership, NSAA member schools will have access to exclusive materials, including training videos, sample workouts and an hour of 1 on 1 consultations with a strength coach which will all be free of charge to NSAA member schools.

NSAA Executive Director Jennifer Schwartz formally announced the partnership through a promotional video. In the video, University Nebraska Lincoln Husker strength coach John Pfeifer shared ways the Husker strength staff plans to support and assist NSAA member schools and their athletic programs.

“Fellow Husker strength coaches and I are thrilled for the opportunity to serve schools throughout our state.  With nearly 40 years of combined experience here at Husker Power our staff is ready to provide knowledge, resources, and support for Nebraska high schools. Access the resources and schedule a consultation on our website at nebraskasc.com and be sure to attend our first high school strength coaches clinic on Friday, June 14th hosted in Husker strength and conditioning facilities.  We look forward to working with you.”
