The second week of National High School Activities Month is National Performing Arts and Local State High School Associations Week.

Performing arts students deserve applause for more than their mesmerizing performances. Let's celebrate them this week for their dedication to their craft and their commitment to their teammates. After all, putting on a performance is a big production and always requires a group effort.

Let's collectively perform an act of gratitude and give those who participate in the performing arts and the state associations that sponsor these events a standing ovation!
