Revered coach and hoops star Dawn Staley grew up playing basketball at Murrell Dobbins Tech High School in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a senior, she was named National High School Player of the Year. Following her three NCAA Final Four berths with the University of Virginia, Staley played professionally for more than a decade.
