One of the WNBA’s Top 25 Players of All Time, Elena Delle Donne prepped at Ursuline Academy Wilmington, where she led the Raiders to three straight Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) basketball state titles and one volleyball crown. She remains the only Ursuline basketball player ever to score 2,000-plus career points.

Delle Donne went on to become a three-time All-American, three-time Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Player of the Year and 2013 Honda National Player of the Year at the University of Delaware, where she set 45 school records and finished as the No. 5 leading scorer in NCAA history with 3,039 career points.

Selected No. 2 overall in the 2013 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky, Delle Donne earned Rookie of the Year and All-Star honors in her debut season. The two-time WNBA MVP won her first championship in 2019 with the Washington Mystics and won Olympic gold with the United States Women's National Basketball Team in 2016. #TitleIXat50
