The annual participation of more than 3.5 million girls in high school athletics was propelled by the 1972 passage of Title IX. To educate current and future student-athletes, coaches, administrators and parents, the NFHS Learning Center launched a free course about Title IX. The course explores the history and impact of Title IX, as well as the responsibilities of schools and staff members to maintain an equitable balance between boys and girls programs. #TitleIXat50
