A star high school basketball player, Mildred “Babe” Didrikson Zaharias never limited herself. Baseball earned her a nickname, track and field gave her Olympic gold and golf made her legacy. She co-founded the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) in 1948, and was named "Woman Athlete of the Half-Century" by The Associated Press in 1950. #TitleIXat50
