Prior to her 28 years as a golf, basketball, volleyball, track and field, gymnastics and cheerleading coach at Appleton West (Wisconsin) High School, which included four golf state titles, Mary Beth Nienhaus was the first female student-athlete in Marquette University history and won two state amateur championships as a member of the men’s golf team. #TitleIXat50
